 Edward Cumberbatch (Danilo)Always a leading man, Edward has appeared as Calaf (Turandot), Nemorino (Elixir of Love), Koanga, Chibiabos (Hiawatha) and Orpheus (Orpheus & Eurydice) with the Lydians chorale. He is also a member of QEDTT and was the winner of the 25+ Recital Class at the 1997 International South African Eistedfod. He is a lecturer of mathematics at the University of T&T, holds his BA, MSc, MPhil, and last year was awarded his PhD. |  Natalia Dopwell (Hanna Glawari)An award winning soprano, Natalia was Most Outstanding Performer of the T&T Music Festival 2004 and 1st Runner up at the 2012 Concurso Internacional de Canto Lírico in Trujillo, Peru. A graduate of Manhattan School of Music, she is on the vocal faculty at University of T&T and is Creative Director of Picoplat MDF. Natalia has been featured in recital in London, Poland and NYC, and her operatic roles include Queen of the Night, Fiordiligi, Rita, Dido, Micaela and the title role in "Jab Molassie" |  Krisson Joseph (Baron Zeta)Krisson holds a Masters in Music Business from New York University. His rich baritone was heard recently in 'Sing De Chorus' and the premiere of 'River of Freedom' for which the Guardian review noted "his huge voice filling the acoustically challenging hall and inspiring ambitious echoes from male members of the crowd even as the show came to an end".  Anneliese Kelly (Valencienne)Anneliese made her operatic debut as Papapgena (Magic Flute) in 2017 and won critical acclaim for her vivacious portrayal of Giannetta (Elixir of Love) with the Picoplat Young Artist Collective. Past performances include ensemble performances in Cosi fan tutte and Tales of Hoffmann, as well as singing the role of Carlotta in the Caribbean Theater Production of Phantom of the Opera in 2014. |  Jake Salloum (Camille)Jake makes his operatic debut with the role of Camille. He began his musical journey at age 8 as a piano student at Key Academy, and began singing as a teenager with BP Marionettes Chorale and Picoplat Young Artist Collective. He has performed in over fifteen local productions, cultivating a diverse repertoire which spans classical, opera, pop and jazz. He was awarded 1st place in the Operatic Gents Aria and 2nd place in the Operatic Duets and Boys Vocal Solo (16-19) at T&T Music Festival 2018 |  Ayrice Wilson (Sylviane)Ayrice was awarded 1st place in the 2014 CMDFTT Music Competition, and is a multi-championship winner of the Trinidad and Tobago Music Festival. She attained a Bachelor of Arts in Music at SUNY Plattsburgh NY, and will begin her Masters of Music study at Ball State University this August.  Michael Hudlin (Kromov)Michael earned his BA in Music at SUNY Plattsburgh, and will head to Eastman School of Music to pursue an MM in Choral Conducting. He sang baritone solo for Schubert’s Mass in G (UWI Arts Chorale), Mozart’s Missa Brevis in G (Champlain Valley Voices), Bach Cantata 106 (SUNY Concert Choir) and Horton in Seussical. He’s placed 1st in CXC Music, won the Louise H. Heisler Music Scholarship at SUNY, and his T&T Music Festival Championship trophies include Bass Solo, Mixed Duet, and Best Composition |  Deborah Aboud (Olga)No stranger to the stage, Deborah began singing with Farnborough Hill Chapel choir at a young age and studied voice to Grade VII under Margaret Morrell in London. From classical to reggae, often performing original works with Conroy Cooper (Fab 5), she represented Jamaica and placed at the CBU Caribbean Song Festival in 1984. She

 Sabrina Marks (Praskowia)Sabrina’s achievements at T&T Music Festival include placing 3rd in Operatic Duet (2018) and 1st place Ladies Vocal Duet (2016). She is a member of Bravura Arts, was a past member of Marionettes Chorale and attained a Grade 6 distinction in Singing and Grade 3 in Piano ABRSM. She has trained with June Nathaniel for many years and won a scholarship to Necessary Arts to study Steelpan and Singing. Her stage credits include Second Lady MAGIC FLUTE, First Witch DIDO & AENEAS & Sally DIE FLEDERMAUS |  Stefan Poon Ying (Cascada)Stefan was encouraged to sing at his church, and began vocal lessons with June Nathaniel. He caught the opera bug when he attended the Picoplat production of Cosi fan tutte and joined the ensemble for the Broadway Revue, Magic Flute and Elixir of Love productions which followed.  Helmer Hilwig (Director)A medical doctor by profession Helmer came to T&T in 1983 with the intention to stay for one year, but Trinidad remains home 33years later. At present he Heads the Arima Emergency Department and also serves as Chairman of the Queens Hall Board. As Director and Actor, he's been involved in over 100 theatre productions in Trinidad and his native Holland, even directing a very young Natalia Dopwell when she was a member of the Love Movement choir. He has directed all CMDFTT operas to date. |  June Nathaniel (Musical Director)Principal of Key Academy of Music, and Musical Director of the CMDFTT, June was a Trinity College of Music exhibition champion at age 17, continuing her studies at Royal College of Music, London where she obtained the A.R.C.M. in Piano Teaching and Singing Performing. She is the winner of multiple Cacique Awards, including the National Drama Association of Trinidad and Tobago (NDATT)'s Lifetime Achievement Award. |
